If you need to reset your site, you have the following options:
-
Start from scratch. Previously named "Complete Reset", this allows you to build a completely new site from scratch. Keep the following in mind:
-
The Email field in Business Info is not reset. The email will be retained in the new site and will be used in any contact form widgets.
-
Site stats are retained and not reset for the new site.
-
-
Keep data and settings. Switch the template on your site and keep existing content. Save the content you have on the site in the (business info, business text, business image), all uploaded site images, and blog content. This option is great for those who want to upgrade their site design, but keep existing content and images. With connected templates and connected data you can even auto-populate the widgets of the new site.
Keep the following in mind:
-
Keep data and settings reset is only supported for the same editor type. For example, if your site uses a Classic Editor template you cannot reset it to a Editor 2.0 template.
-
Note
-
Your site subscription is saved for your site in both types of resets. Neither reset type allows you to save existing pages, data placed on the site directly or site theme options.
To reset a site:
